Lakrids by Bülow Chocolate-Coated Liquorice

Lakrids by Bülow is Danish liquorice coated in chocolate, then finished with something extra: fruit, caramel or a little sea salt. Each piece balances sweet and salty, smooth and crisp. Johan Bülow started making it in a small shop on the island of Bornholm in 2007, and it's still made in their own factory in Denmark. It's unusual and habit-forming (don't say we didn't warn you).

Original pairs sweet black liquorice, milk chocolate and a fine dusting of liquorice powder. Passionfruit is our favourite, forever and always: creamy white chocolate and bright passion fruit against sweet liquorice. Classic Caramel combines dulce chocolate and sweet liquorice with a crunch of sea salt. In Crispy Raspberry, white chocolate coats sweet liquorice, sprinkled with pink raspberry flakes and a hint of strawberry. And red liquorice fans should not be kept from the joy of Lakrids, so Sour Strawberry wraps a chewy red centre in white chocolate and tart green strawberry, finished with a crunchy sugar shell.
